Located near Batesville this lovely, secluded mountain cabin on 5+ acres, overlooks Raper Creek and the Chattahoochee National Forest. This cabin is rustic (pine floors and walls with mountain laurel bannister and porch railing) and comfortable, with modern kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There is a great room with a large rock fireplace, two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen and the other with a double bed. The loft has a double bed and 2 twins Plus a bath. There is also an outside shower for your use when coming in from playing in the creek.The large screened porch and rock fire pit overlook the trout stream with beautiful shoals.

Summary: This is our fourth time staying at the Blackburn Cabin and each time we fall in love with the cabin and area all over again. Clean and comfy! Can't wait to return!

Summary: This cabin was perfect for our family of 7. We had enough bed space for everyone. The land around the home and the stream beside it were amazing features that allowed us to explore and relax listening to the mountain sounds. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We did bring coffee, sugar, extra paper towels, and extra toilet paper. If staying for a longer period than 3-4 nights, I would recommend bringing washing detergent. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

Summary: The view and the area around the cabin were beautiful. The cabin itself was adorable and clean. We did have a couple of squeaky visitors and one committed suicide in the washing machine so be careful. But, that is to be expected when you are enjoying the great wilderness!

Summary: This is probably the 5-6th time that we’ve stayed at this property, it’s a great, quick escape from the city. Warm days, cool nights, no need to leave unless you want to. No need for us to leave, sat in the river for 3 days. Looking forward to next visit!

Summary: This is the second time that I've stayed at this cabin, and I love staying here. It is on beautiful property with a lovely creek next to the house. The cabin itself is comfy and quaint and not too far from all the north Georgia adventures. I'm worried that word is out about this place, and it won't be long before it is all booked up. This place would be a great place to spend the weekend with a family with plenty of outdoor space for kids to run free. I'm sure I'll be back before too long.

Summary: I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday at this wonderful cabin. We had other family staying nearby and used this house as our home base. The property was beautiful and we spent many hours playing board games on the screened-in porch, playing ball in the yard, wading in the water, and having bonfires with smores every night. It was a weekend we will not forget. We all agree that we would like to make this our meeting place for future family gatherings and getaways.
